WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congresswoman Sarah Elfreth (MD-03) voted against the Republican Budget Reconciliation Legislation, also known as the One Big, Beautiful Bill Act.

According to the nonpartisan and independent Congressional Budget Office (CBO), the GOP bill would strip health care from nearly 14 million Americans. At least 3 million people will lose their Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits in an average month.
