As the Vice Ranking Member of the Natural Resources Committee, Congresswoman Elfreth is determined to combat the climate crisis by leading meaningful action in environmental restoration and protection and moving America toward a clean energy economy. The Congresswoman serves on the Water, Wildlife, and Fisheries Subcommittee and the Energy and Mineral Resources Subcommittee—both of which are crucial to Maryland’s Third District’s wildlife, habitats, and communities surrounding the Chesapeake Bay.
