Tours and Tickets

PLEASE NOTE: White House tours are extremely limited during the spring season. Due to the high demand and competitive nature of these reservations, we are unable to guarantee that all tour requests can be fulfilled. We encourage you to submit your request, and our office will do its best to accommodate you. We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as we manage these constraints and the current level of demand.

Additionally, the Presidential Administration now mandates REAL ID for U.S. citizens seeking to access certain federal facilities, including the White House Complex. REAL ID-compliant cards will have one of the following markings in the upper portion of the card. If the card does not have one of these markings, it is not REAL-ID compliant and will not be accepted as a valid form of ID to enter the White House Complex.

VISITING WASHINGTON, D.C.

Destinations across our nation’s capital offer a variety of tours with something for everyone to enjoy! Whether you are taking a day trip, weekend getaway, or longer stay in our Capital Region, our office is happy to provide guidance and assistance on sightseeing in and around D.C.

Though most attractions grant booking access to the public, our office can help secure tickets to the destinations that require Congressional liaisons.

WHITE HOUSE TOURS

White House tours are typically available Tuesday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM and Friday through Saturday from 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM, excluding Federal holidays or unless otherwise noted.

Our office can request up to 3 dates to the White House for your tour, and all requests must be submitted a minimum of 21 days prior to the desired tour dates. Due to high demand, tours dates requested at least 90 days out are most likely to be available.

UNITED STATES CAPITOL BUILDING TOURS

Tours of the U.S. Capitol Building are available Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 3 PM.

When visiting, reservations are not required but strongly recommended to ensure you get the time slot you desire.

Passes to visit the House of Representatives gallery are available for pickup in our Washington, D.C. office — 1213 Longworth House Office Building.

FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION HEADQUARTERS TOURS

Tours of the Federal Bureau of Investigation are now available Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 2 PM, excluding Federal holidays.

Please note that the FBI Education Center requires that all attendees be either US Citizens or Legal Permanent Residents/Green Card holders.

Because the FBI requires sensitive information to finalize tour bookings, a member of our staff will reach out to your party to confirm your reservation if your requested tour date(s) are available.

All requests must be submitted a minimum of 4 weeks prior to the desired tour dates.

What are the options for 'Phone Type?'

Constituents who are hard of hearing or use a video phone have the option to choose TDD or VP based on the type of device they are using. This allows our office to respond to them accordingly. The default option 'Voice' is a standard audible telephone.
