“After 15 months of profound suffering and conflict, I am encouraged by today’s announcement of a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas, which will halt the fighting in Gaza, reunite 33 hostages with their families, and deliver much-needed humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people.”
